Our Lady Speaks: August 16, 2019

“Just as it is important to focus on your next right step in traveling on the path of prayer, it is important to set your foot firmly before moving on.

“In terms of prayer, this means is asking and giving thanks. Some people only want to ask for graces. Others only to be grateful. But if you wish to walk the path of prayer—and feel yourself moving each day towards your heart’s desire—you will need to pray in both ways, just as you move from your right foot to your left and back again in walking. This is the journey of prayer.

“The novena I have given you follows just this rhythm. It is the rhythm of the sun and moon, the rhythm of the passing seasons, the rhythm of life, and the rhythm of the Earth itself.

“There will always be something to pray for as long as you are alive, and always a reason for giving thanks. This isn’t difficult. True wisdom never is. Nevertheless, it requires some effort and some intention. But even with only a little effort and a little intention, you will find yourself experiencing great changes in your life and the lives of those around you.”
