“There was a time when men put their boats out to sea not knowing if they would find the land they searched for. Eventually, there came a point when they had to decide if they would go on in hope of finding what they sought or turn back to the surety of the land from whence they came. If they chose to sail onward, they often reached a place where to turn back meant certain death and the only hope lay in sailing forward, even if they didn’t know when or if they would reach land.
“You are those sailors, whether you know it yet or not. The ship has sailed and you are on it, and now there is no way back. The only hope lies forward, but to reach your goal, you must believe in it and have faith in it. You must hope for it and, most of all, you must know that, come what may, it is the only place for you to go.
“All other options are gone. So trust in Me, and let My breath fill your sails. Trust in the water not to drown you but to keep you afloat. And trust in time to carry you forward, just as it has brought you down to the present day.”
