The power of the Earth rises to you, and then through you, like a mountain formed from within. Nothing can perturb a mountain, and nothing can wear it away but that another mountain is formed in the process.
Over long ages mountains rise and fall, moving over the surface of the land and even below the sea. The waves of this moving are so vast and slow that you cannot witness them. But know for certain that nothing can defeat them, nothing can stop them.
The power of the Earth rises to you and through you. It rises to meet you from the moment you were born. There are older, deeper rhythms that you know nothing of, even though they have caused you to be and caused you to return ceaselessly from one age to the next.
People sometimes see My body as the body of a mountain. But they are only looking at the mirror of their own body and soul. All that you are is taken from the Earth, and all that you are returns to it. But this does not happen only at the beginning or the end of your life. It is always happening—in every day, in every moment, with every breath.
Mountains are always being born. And mountains are always dying. But mountains are always in the world.
