“If you search your heart in prayer, you will find that the way through any difficulty is down—down deeper into the depths of the heart, deeper into My embrace, closer to the Earth and more conversant with the teachings of My smaller, lesser beings.
“Ask a grass blade what it means to grow, to have her feet in the damp and the dark of the Earth, her head in the breezy sunlight. Ask a beetle what he knows of clouds and rainfall and renewal. Ask the dirt to teach you Mother-Wisdom, and lay your ear against her belly or her breast.
“The wisdom passed down by your sages may seem elevated and sublime by comparison, but any wisdom not rooted in the raw mass and matter of this world will never truly be wise. The season of saying the rosary out of doors is fast approaching. Know that the rosary is a prayer of beauty, of blossoms, and of becoming. It will teach you all that you need to know.”
