“If only you knew how simple everything could be, how simple it all is and always has been. You come forth from that simplicity, and you return to it. Jesus called it ‘the Kingdom of Heaven.’ It abides within you and surrounds you all of your days. This is what you pray for when you say the words of the Our Father, and what you embody when you say the Hail Mary. The rosary is My manual for embracing the love, the peace, and the serenity that always have been your birth right.
“There is more wisdom in these beads than in all the great libraries of the world. For what is a book with no one to read it? What is a lecture with no one to hear? What is a lesson with no one to learn it? In the rosary you become the wisdom. You become the reader, and also what is read. Its words are on your lips and in your heart. Its rhythms become your heartbeat and your breath. It has no bottom. It is without a beginning or an end.
“To those who pray the rosary, all will be given. To those who bring children into this world with these prayers on their lips, I will give blessing upon blessing. To those who die with the rosary on their lips, I will give life upon life upon life.”
