In the day before telegraphs, telephones, emails, texts, and messages, people set out to call on others to converse with them. And they would carry with them calling cards to leave in the event that the person they had come to see was entertaining already, or indisposed, or away from home. They would leave a card to let that person know they had stopped by.
When a person begins praying the rosary, they often experience My concern, My presence, My intervention, or My protection. And they interpret this to be the result of their drawing closer to Me through praying the rosary. But this is not the case. They are just paying attention now. My calling cards are everywhere in every life.
The person who is spiritually healthy and emotionally happy can reflect on their life and find hundreds, if not thousands, of My calling cards. I’ve been stopping by since forever. The cards add up, and people who come to the rosary often have a whole stack of them. But most aren’t aware of their significance. They slip them into a purse, a drawer, a wallet, or a back pocket and give them no further thought.
But there comes a point when it’s like a bell going off in their mind. Something catches their attention and they say, “Oh! The Lady was here and I didn’t know it.” From that point on, they become more vigilant.
This is where the path of the rosary begins. But it is not where I begin. It is only the place where you begin to notice Me and talk to Me and learn what I can do.
