You should never think that anything is lacking. All is provided for. In any given moment, there is nothing for you to do.
You are like water poured into water, ceaselessly flowing together with water, on its way to yet more water and back again to the beginning. The soul is forever finding its way.
A river bears up boats and barges and never tires. It makes no effort and still accomplishes whatever task it is set to do. It carries silt, fish, plants, and all manner of other things, sustaining and suspending them within its body. So have faith.
You can channel a river and bend it to your will. But you can never understand it. It remains unfathomable—a lesson you never finish learning, a riddle you can never solve.
So know that you are loved and carried, sustained and shepherded—that you can be at peace within and outwardly everything will still get done. This is what it means to be serene in each moment, even when flowing through a rocky cataract or surging the banks of a flooding river. This is what it means to have Me as a mother. So relax and trust in My embrace.
