Our Lady Speaks: February 16, 2023

On every side you are surrounded by spirit—just as surely as the soil and stone support your weight, the sky stretches above you, and the sea and plains and mountains lie about you on all sides.

The light of the sun makes all things visible. But you cannot see spirit. You can only sense its presence and feel its energy and its will. The will of spirit lives within you as your heart’s desire.

The desire of the physical heart is to beat in rhythm with the actions and motions of each changing moment. The will of the spirit that lives within the heart, and to which the heart gives expression—that is another matter. It comes like a wind from the remote reaches of your past and blows ceaselessly into your future. It is not bound by space and time.

The beating heart cannot truly contain it. For its nature, like the blood that courses through the your veins and arteries, is to be always in motion, always seeking, always reaching. Just as the muscle of your heart never stops or rests, the spirit is never still. It finds no home because it is your home. It’s seeking and finding are always of one moment, and that moment includes all time.

Some will say that prayer is a mystery, but the mystery is only this: All time flows ceaselessly from a single heart’s desire—one moment without a beginning or an end.
