Our Lady Speaks: March 16, 2021

There are two pieces of wisdom that you can use to discern the path ahead, navigating difficulties and making decisions along the way. The first is to step aside, to which I will add a bit of Motherly advice, which is walk, don’t run.

The more frantic a situation becomes, the more deliberate and evenly paced should be your walk. Stepping aside can sometimes involve remaining still and doing nothing for a time. After that, you will have to walk to remove yourself from the frenzy.

That frenzy is driven by fatalism and the panic that there is nothing to be done. The more frenzied the fearful become, the more mischief they will do. You will know that mischief because it is fast, and because it seems to require an immediate response.

The second is that safety lies in the river…not on the bank, not in the shallows.

You will know that you are safe when you are floating in water too deep for your feet to touch the bottom. This is My guidance. It is simple but difficult to follow, because it requires a radical trust in the course of events.

When you know that both walking and floating proceed at the pace of life, you will learn to recognize when you are on the path and in the flow. It will feel slower than what is happening around you. Think of the difference between a heartbeat and hyperventilation, and you will begin to find yourself centered in it.
