Our Lady Speaks: April 24, 2017

“When someone dies, at the funeral the priest says, “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,” and often reads that passage from scripture that says, “For from the dust wast thou taken, and to dust thou shalt return.” But ashes do not bring forth bodies, and nothing grows from dust. Already in these stories from your scriptures, the soil has lost its vigor.

“Think how different it is to say, “Dirt to dirt.” For dirt is a living thing. You were brought forth from Life, and it is to Life that you return at death. This you must know before you know anything else. Because, if you misunderstand this, you are likely to get many other things wrong.”
