Our Lady Speaks: January 4, 2017

“On a night of shooting stars, there is no pattern in the way they flash across the sky. Or rather, there is, but you only know that pattern at the end—which means that it is no pattern at all, because it cannot and will not be repeated.

“In the same way that you cannot say where or exactly when the next shooting star will appear in the sky, you cannot know where you are in space and time apart from the movements of shadows on the ground—shadows cast by the sun shining on objects that remain stationary, or shadows cast by those that move.

“When you dream, you pass from the land of shadows into the realm of the shooting stars. It is likewise when you meditate or pray. Miracles are not performed in the shadow box of this reality you call a world. Miracles come in the spaces between shooting stars—in the places you don’t think to look. And yet you see them. They flash through the sky and are captured, as if by a camera, in the depths of the eye.

“‘Expect a miracle,’ people will say, but I say that you won’t know WHAT to expect or WHERE or WHEN, but you must remain open-eyed and ready and willing—in the space between shooting stars, and in the time between them. This is dark space. And this is dark time.

“People wonder how it is that this world, with all of its problems, can be set to rights. You will not see the world being set to rigths or know that it is happening, and you certainly will not know why. But trust Me that it will.

“I don’t carry a lantern into the depths of that darkness. Nevertheless, out of it I am able to bring light.”
